Abstract: In order to assess the year 20122013 drought loss of Yunnan rapeseed production，firstly, through the selection of seven representative and main rapeseed production areas in Yunnan Province as the assessment samples, the drought losses of rapeseed production in the sample areas are assessed with the method of Comprehensive Percentage of Production Loss or CPPL;secondly, with the assessment results of the sample areas and by means of the overall sample estimation, the total drought loss is calculated for Yunnan rapeseed production in the year 20122013; at last, the countermeasures are proposed to mitigate the drought impact on Yunnan rapeseed production in this article.
