Abstract: Since the reform and opening up, the income level of farmers in Yunnan province has been increasing, but comparing with the national average,which is relatively decreasing. In the context of expanding domestic demand, how to steadily improve the income of farmers is an important task for the government. Through statistical analysis, we found that farmers in Yunnan whose MPC and APC is the first in thecountry,so we should put more attention on increasing the farmers income in order to develop rural consumers market. The governmentsrural policy should focus on how to combine shortterm and longterm policy fastly and efficiently improving farmers income.
