Abstract: The United States has the worlds most advanced modern agriculture with the features of high degrees of mechanization,specialization and mass scales. High technology and the agricultural support policies of the government have played a vital role. The ideasand methods of agricultural development in the United States suggest implications for the exploration of Yunnan plateau characteristicagriculture.
