Abstract:
The U.S federal western agricultural policy in the New Deal age included the various reforms and measures taken by the federal government to deal with the agriculturalcrisis and natural disaster in the West. It also reflected, at the same time, the federal governments planning of the long-term development of the agriculture in the West.Generally speaking, the policy was a big success. It practically and substantially helped the American farmers in the West, keeping the social stability of the West and laying asolid foundation for the long-term agricultural development of the American West. Therefore, it won the support of the Western farmers.
