The Proposal of HaoJing's Concept That Poetry Give Priority to Sound and Its Theoretical Significance

  • 摘要: 在前代诗乐关系、诗声关系研究的基础上,在明代诗学整体重声的背景下,郝敬提出了诗主声。其声有别于近体诗的声律辞采,是一种本质论意义上的诗学观点。它要求诗的声符合儒家温柔敦厚、平和中正的诗教观,与音本色论是互为表里的。诗主声实质上是区别于诗言志、诗缘情两种传统本质论的新本质论,但它与诗言志有较大联系,也有一定区别。诗主声的提出,一方面推动了晚明反宋经学思潮的发展,另一方面批判了朱熹解诗的主要观点和以朱熹为代表的空疏思想,具有重要的文论价值和时代特色。

     

    Abstract: Basing on the former research of the relationship between poem and music, poem and sound, at the same time on the background of Ming dynasty paying attention to sound overall, HaoJing urged the concept that poetry give priority to sound. Thissoundis different from the rhythm and gorgeous rhetoric in modern style poetry,being a kind of poetic view of essentialism. It requires that poetrys sound is in line with concept of Confucian poem teaching of soft and gentle, mild and positive, it is ina reciprocal relationship with sound-centeredness. In nature, being a kind of essentialism, the concept differs from two traditional essentialisms of poetry, namely poetryexpressing aspiration and poetry deriving from affection, but it has connection as well as difference with the former. The value of the viewpoint lies in promoting thedevelopment of ideological trend of anti-song classics and criticizing the main points of Zhu Xis interpretation of poetry and the empty and shallows ideas of Zhu Xi as arepresentative, so it has a important theoretical value and it is with the characteristics of age. 
