Abstract: The connotation of border sports was described and the current situations of physical business and industry were investigated and analyzed. Based on three models, which were respectively core physical value model, economic development model and culture protection and inheritance model, the advantage and starting point wereput forwards. The development of border sports should be promoted under the fiveinone construction overall layout, coordinating planning and linkage ofmultidepartment, whose aim was to explore the suitable development model for the sports in southwest border areas and realize the development of border sports.
