Abstract: In this treatise based on the analysis of the characters of history of science and technology, the status quo of the education of history of science and technology and social phenomenons that concerned, the basic aims in the education of history of science and technology were brought out, that are, to take scientific spirit and humanistic spirit into overall account, to spread widely scientific thought and scientific method, to analyze the interaction mechanism between science, technology and society and to make be understood that the fundemental purpose to advance science and technology is to realize mankinds pursuit of the unity of the true, the good and the beautiful.
