Abstract:
Chinas new generation groups mainly include two categories: new generation of migrant workers and new generation of college students. The twogroups have both convergence and difference. Understanding real living conditions of the two groups has very important meaning in theChinese transformation.This paper compares the two groups through jobs, income and the degree of integrating into the city and proposes a development of ideas:government provides support in funding, training and registration for the two groups in the short term; In the long run government has to change the mode ofeconomic development through the optimization of industrial structure, the coordination of regional development and the strengthen of social construction;The fundamental solution is competitive differentiation through vigorous development of occupation education and academic education.
