Abstract: This paper has carried out investigation on thepension status of Simao District of Puer City, Nanping Township, Man Lian village with the questionnaire interview etc. Through researching on the Puercityexisting family pension, endowment of land，the original farmer insurance, new farmers insurance, government assistance, the paper advocates that thetraditional family pension, the land endowment is facing a serious challenge. Aiming at these problems, such as: new farmers insurance occurred during theenrollment rate is low, the land compensation is not transformed into old-age security payments, social old-age insurance system is imperfect, etc., thepaper advocates that we should develop the pension security policy of west tilt, implement flexible payment, exchange the land or natural resources forpension insurance to ensure increasing the value of the fund, and developing county economy, positively.
