Abstract: The environment descriptions of LU Xun's novels is queried and criticized due to its simpleand original style. Through systematic contrast and demonstrative method, after preliminary analysis and research, this paper concludes that this kind ofquery and criticism are lack of theoretical and practical basis. From the author's point of view, the social environment descriptions of LU Xun's novelsshow authenticity and typicalness; the natural descriptions manifest simplicity and originality as a whole, and the combination of the two displays harmonyand mutual complementarity. The creative experience and mode of expression aforementioned hitherto have important reference value and adoptability.
