Abstract: The research methods of literature and data, mathematicalstatistics, logical reasoning analyzes the status of Yunnan region sports development. The bridgehead strategy proposes Yunnan regional sports development strategies, including: (1) give priority to the development of walking and mountain bike cross-country and other sports edge-group to promote Yunnan sports-round development; (2) integrate the bridgehead strategic opportunity into the traditional sports of ethnic minorities in Yunnan, which will helppromote the healthy and stable development of mass sports; (3) altitude training base on the industrial chain development and characteristics of Yunnan tobuild brand sporting events bring new opportunities and challenges for sports and cultural cross-national, cross-border exchange.
