Concept Map and Language Teaching

  • 摘要: 美国康乃尔大学的David Novak教授和他的团队于20世纪70年代基于David Ausubel的认知同化和建构主义理论,开始了对概念结构图的研究。概念图能培养学生理解性学习能力,有效改进学生的认知方式。本文通过论证概念图和语言教学的关系,从概念图对阅读理解的提高、学习效果评价和培养学生创造性思维和写作能力三个方面,从理论上分析其对语言学习的促进作用.

     

    Abstract: Based on David Ausubel's cognitive assimilation and theconstructivist theories, David Novak developed the research on concept mapping technique at Cornell University. Concept mapping is an active cognition of knowledge. In language teaching, concept map is helpful to reading comprehension, creative writing and assessment of student's learning effectiveness. Theconnection between concept mapping and language teaching make it possible for us to take advantage of concept mapping to improve student's readingcomprehension and creative writing. It can also be helpful for teacher to assess student's understanding.
