Abstract: Opium poppy cultivation's alternative industrydevelopment outside Yunnan's borders made great exploration and contribution for the international drug control cooperation and Yunnan's internationaleconomy and technology cooperation.By illustrating the present situation of alternative industry development outside Yunnan's borders, this paper madesuggestions for alternative industry development outside Yunnan's borders in macroscopical aspect and microscopical aspect，on the basis of analyzingsystematically advantages and constraint of alternative industry development outside Yunnan's borders.
