Abstract:
There are three main missions of higher education in universities: transferring knowledge, servicing for society and cultivating talents, which is the most radical function. However, the recent educational and teaching models of universities are not completely benefit to cultivate innovation abilities. The centre of our traditional teaching model is teaching, in which teachers take the leading and actions of students are overlooked, so potentials of students can not be exerted. By adjusting the traditional experimental teaching mode,the independent proposition of practice course in Forage and Turf Grass Seed Science is carried out. The results show that the experimental teaching mode of independent proposition of practice course can change students from passive practice to active practice, and remarkably function on study, innovation and promoting their abilities to analyze and solve problems.
