Abstract:
With the supports of the national and Yunnan provincial governments to promote integrated development of urban and rural areas in recent years, the living standard of rural residents has been greatly raised, and the trend of the widening gap between the urban and rural areas has been relieved to a certain degree. In the same time, the old system of middle professional education has expose out some incompatible problems with the integrated development of urban and rural areas. This article discusses therequirements for professional education due to the integrated development on the basis of investigating the current situation of many middle professionalschools in Yunnan and puts forward some policy suggestions.
