Abstract: From the angles of the carvings devotion and wisdom, the graphemes void and environ, the strengths control and release, the present article has a deep research into Shek Munming and tries to have a more exact understanding of it. Meanwhile, basing on the understanding of Shek Munming, the author has a discussion about the current Wei Dynasty's stone tablet art movement and puts forward that Shek Munming has made some contribution to the expansion of Wei Dynastys stone tablet calligraphy, but thats only a starting point. Based on the spirit and writing techniques from the previous dynasties, stele theory of Qing dynasty has important references to the current Wei Dynastys stone tablet calligraphy research.
