Abstract: Ambiguity phenomenon exists in almost all languages. Correctly understanding the meanings of the ambiguous sentences is a difficult question all the time; and it is also a prevalent, heated research topic. The previous researchers， studies show that the understanding of the meanings of the ambiguous sentences is closely related to its context. Therefore, the key to translate the contextual ambiguous sentences lie on the correctly understanding of the context. This paper tries to find out some translating strategies in the practice of translating the contextual ambiguous sentences.
