Abstract: As the standardized experimental generator, E-Prime is prevalent all over the world nowadays, and it can provide the best possible timing accuracy（ms）. E-Prime is available for objectoriented, open-style design, and it can complete most of the experimental procedures by setting the objects′ properties. E-Prime′s standardized features, to some extent, might meet the needs of foreign language reading research. This paper introduces E-Prime briefly and the program designing process by taking the lexical decision task as an example. The expectation is that the study will probably arouse foreign language colleagues′ interests in this program and promote further exchanges and study.
