Abstract:
This paper analyzes some key problems we are facing in implementing onlinelearning, for example, it is difficult to duplicate the advantages of F2F,the ability of Synchronous and asynchronous interact should be improved, and it is difficult to implement formative evaluation, and so on. Then we present the characteristics of context-awareness, and describe the five applications of context-awareness methods in online learning, for example, duplicating classroom atmosphere of F2F unlimited by region,regularly sending study records,using social navigation supporting online learning,etc. to illustrate how to use context-awareness methods and technologies to address the key problems we have identified in online learning.
