Thinking on Education Equity Promoting the Economic Growth of Harmnious Society

  • 摘要: 通过对凯恩斯的经济增长模型的解释得出教育是经济增长的基础的结论,在美国经济增长过程中教育对经济的推动作用是远大于物力资本的,而且世界上的许多发达国家都曾把教育发展摆在优先发展的战略地位。这些经验对我国构建和谐社会,加快经济的发展都是良好的启示。尽管我国政府也对教育的发展制定了一系列的政策和规定,但目前的教育中存在一些与构建和谐社会要求不相适应的方面,具体体现在教育公平的缺失和教育结构发展不平衡。作者对这些教育问题进行了充分的分析和论证,结合党的“十七大”发展教育的精神,提出了捍卫公平和发展职业教育是构建和谐社会的基础和策略选择。

     

    Abstract: Through the analysis of Keynes' Economic Growth Model, this thesis draw the conclusion that education is the foundation of economic growth. Concerning the process of American eocnomic gorwth, the driving power of education in promoting economic growth is bigger than material capital. In addition, many developed countries in the world have put education development at the priority position. All these practices have inspired our country's harmnious society construction and economic development. Although our government has constituted a host of policies and regulations, there are still discordant notes in current education system including the imperfect of education equity and development imbalance of education structure, which are unsuitable for the harmnious society construction. The author has given full analysis and argumentation on these issues and also put forward the idea that safeguard education equity and develop vocational education are the basis and strategic option for our harmnious society construction.
