Abstract: Chinese traditional medicine is one important component of chinese splendid culture. It stemmed from practice and got continuous enrichment and development in practice. It expounded comprehensively the anatomy, physiology and pathology about body and diagnosis, treatment and prevention of disease with naive materialism and dialectics about five elements (metal, wood, water, fire, earth),the balance between Yin and Yang opposites and treatment with unique advantage in theory and clinic. It has important scientific value and good prospects.
