农业院校英语专业课程设置改革的调查与分析

The Curriculum Set and Reform of English Majors of Agricultural Universities

  • 摘要: 以培养单纯的语言技能为主要目标的英语专业课程体系不再被社会认可,取而代之的是语言能力培养、人文知识的传授、跨文化交际能力培养兼具有专业知识传授的以培养创新型复合型外语人才为目标的课程体系。目前农业院校英语专业学生课程设置现状如何?学生对课程设置又有何看法或需求?如何对农业院校英语专业的课程设置进行改革?带着对这些问题的思考,通过对问卷调查的分析研究,针对农业院校英语专业发展现状,提出农业院校英语专业课程设置改革的建议。

     

    Abstract: Based on the problems concerning excessive skill-based language courses, inadequate content-based courses, English graduates'narrow range of knowledge and their inadequate development of general qualities, an analytical survey into the present situation of the curriculum of some agricultural universities.The students'evaluation of the curriculum and their needs analysis for the curriculum was made, and a reform proposal concering the English majors of Agricultural Universities was raised to develop students language skill, to improve studentscomprehensive competence through an integration of content teaching and skill training among English majors in their first two undergraduate years and more relevant courses for practical use in the third and forth year.
