Abstract:
Writing in English is considered a headache for many college students. They always fail to meet the basic requirement of the teaching syllabus in this respect. Teachers also consider teaching writing as drudgery because it is timeand energy-consuming to mark the writings but meanwhile proved far from being effective. This paper, therefore, aims to introduce peer response, an approach of teaching English writing into colleges throughout China. With its eminent features, this approach will bring about satisfactory results if properly applied.
