Abstract:
Tea poetry began to flourish in the Tang Dynasty. Tea poems of Tang Dynasty laid the basic life mood and aesthetic taste of Chinese tea culture. With the developing of era spirit, there is a gradual process in the aesthetic taste of tea poems, from natural, frugal to refinement, small and complicated; from supramundane to secular; from tranquil, indifferent to cultural quality leisure; from tea enlightenment to Tea and Zen. Tea poems of Tang Dynasty reflect the unique beauty and the happiness of Chinese life, showing noble and adaptive characters of Chinese scholars, and demonstrating the value and philosophies of the ancient literati. Tea poetries have a significant role to shape the national spirit, to harmonize the social.
