Abstract: It is the kernel of agriculturebased thought of China to govern a country through attaching much importance to and enriching farmers, and stabilizing and prospering the country. The importance attached to agricultural production has intensified the stable and harmonious value preference of agroculture and promoted the cultural continuation and succession. History can not be segmented. The thick farming culture of China still has great positive meaning in cultivating the heart and nature of Chinese people, in inheriting Chinese culture, in constructing harmonious society and in following a road of ecological civilization. The modern value of farming culture lies in cultivating one’s culture and morality, and in upholding diligence and frugality. Yunnan farming culture, in its process of passing on the abundant and diversified ethnic culture, played a basic role of importance. order and harmony are still the thinking wisdom that the modern society needs. The enlightenment brought by the agrocivilization of Yunnan is that the development of science and technology can bring much more benefit in the conflict between man and nature, nonetheless, the confinement by resources and natural law at any time can not be neglected by human activities.
