Abstract: The functions of the modern university is no longer a purely cultural and educational area but as raising the city's core competitiveness and sustainable development, one of the important driving force. This article attempts to take boundary effects of Yunnan Agricultural University and the surrounding urban space development as example,explores ways of sustainable development of university urban space:from the planning level,adjustment of the internal functions on campus,urban planning adjustments of campus surrounding.
