云南农林高校女性教师学术生涯发展阻隔因素探究——基于Heckman两阶段选择模型的实证研究

Factors Hindering the Academic Career Development of Female Teachers in Agricultural and Forestry Universities of Yunnan Province: Empirical Study Based on Heckman's Two-Stage Selection Model

  • 摘要: 探究影响高校女性教师学术生涯发展阻隔因素,有利于提升高校女性教师的人力资本价值。通过云南2所高校293份问卷调查,基于Heckman两阶段模型,克服了样本教师"自选择"带来的内生性和非随机样本问题,经实证检验和稳健性检验后表明:第一,女性性别的本质性性状、社会角色设置、高教边缘化危机不同程度地制约着高校女性教师学术生涯的发展;第二,女性教师所在高校的教研人员性别比、院校规模、学科领域、受教育程度、日家务劳动时间都显著影响着女性教师的学术行为发生率;第三,女性教师持有的性别隔离认知程度和学术行为发生没有显著的关联。据此,从行业主管及高校治理角度提出了建议。

     

    Abstract: Exploring the obstructive factors that affect the academic career development of female teachers is conducive to improve the human capital value of female teachers and alleviate the phenomenon of gender segregation in colleges and universities. Based on the Heckman two-stage model, 293 female teachers from two agricultural and forestry universities in Yunnan province were used as data sources to overcome the endogeneity and non-random sample problems caused by the "self-selection" of sample teachers in the questionnaire survey, which were tested by empirical test and robustness test.The research shows that:first, the essential characteristics of female gender, social role setting and the marginalization crisis of higher education have all differently restricted the development of academic career of female teachers in colleges and universities. Secondly, the sex ratio of teaching and research staff, college size, discipline area, education level and daily housework time of female teachers in universities significantly influence the incidence of academic behavior of female teachers.Thirdly, there is no significant correlation between the gender segregation cognition degree held by female teachers and the occurrence of academic behaviors. Accordingly, the author puts forward four suggestions from the perspective of industry supervisor and university governance.
