Abstract: College students are the mainstays of political, economical, cultural and society construction, and is also the backbone of national stability in in border areas. This article bases on literatures, expounds the relative concepts of national identity, combines with the characteristics of college students in minority border areas, then analyses the factors that affect the ideological situation of college students in minority border areas, and puts forth some advice on improving the national identity of college students in minority border areas.
