Abstract: Since the policy of reform and opening up carrying out, fundamental changes have taken place in China's rural areas, farmers' values appear confusing, it manifests in following aspects:the value orientation presents tendency of chasing interests, the value standard is diversified, the contradiction and conflict of value selection is becoming intense. Some factors are proved to cause these phenomenons, that is the existence of dual system of urban and rural areas, the weak economic foundation, the unfit management system, the weak rural cultural atmosphere, the overflow vulgar modern media information, etc. Some countermeasures are aimed to solve the above problems so as to foster farmers' new values.
