Abstract: Farmers' need for technical service of crop and livestock in the forest are influenced by many factors.The Probit model was conducted in this study through questionnaire survey to analysis farmers'needs for technical service of crop and livestock in the forest.The results proved that farmer's age, education level, forestland area and whether to join the cooperative organization had a significant impact on farmers'need for technical service of crop and livestock in the forest.Therefore, in order to impel the supply-demand equilibrium of agricultural technology services, some corresponding suggestions are put forward including: constructing a forestry technology service system to meet the farmers'needs in different age; enhancing attach equal importance to forestry technology popularization and the forestry science and technology education; improving the mechanism of forestland transfer and promoting the attorney of forestland circulation so as to increase the forestland scale of farm households; supporting the development of the forestry cooperative organizations.
