基于双语平行语料库的词汇翻译教学

Bilingual Parallel Corpus:based Vocabulary Translation Teaching

  • 摘要: 基于双语平行语料库的词汇翻译教学是一种以学习者为中心的教学模式, 能充分调动学生的学习主动性。双语平行语料库作为有效的词汇翻译教学辅助工具, 主要有四方面的应用价值:帮助师生检验译文的词组搭配是否地道;提供丰富多样的双语对译样例, 有助于学生丰富对译词语, 增强语感;提供词典外的译法供学生仿习;为教师编写翻译练习题或测试题提供素材。

     

    Abstract: Bilingual parallel corpus-based vocabulary translation teaching is a learner-centered teaching mode which can best arouse students' learning interest. As an aid to vocabulary translation teaching, the functions of bilingual parallel corpus can be seen in the ways as: helping teachers and students verify whether the phases and collocations concerned are idiomatic or not; providing rich parallel samples for a key word (or phrase) which helps students enlarge their translation equivalents and cultivate sense of language; providing translation equivalents that are not included in dictionaries for students to imitate; providing source material for teachers to design translation exercises and testing papers.
