The Drifter in the Third Space: An Overview of Characterization and Writing Style of V.S.Naipaul

  • 摘要: 奈保尔是后殖民主义语境中典型的漂泊在第三空间的流散作家。依据霍米巴巴的后殖民主义理论对奈保尔在第三空间的生存状况、创作主题、人物形象塑造和文体风格进行解读可以为世界后殖民主义英语文学的研究提供借鉴。

     

    Abstract: V.S.Naipaul is a typical author of diastolic literature who survives in the third space under the post-colony context. Based on Homi Bhabha's theory, the author analyzes V. S. Naipaul's survival, interprets the theme, characterization, and the style of his works. It could supply a very essential reference for the research of postcolonial literature worldwide.
