Abstract: In China, the challenges of urban environment include large emission of pollution,heavy haze, water pollution and heavy metal pollution. With the increasing investment and governance of environmental protection, the adjustment of industrial structure, the utilization efficiency of energy resource, the emission of main pollution has been decreased, and the quality of urban environment has been improved as well. In this case, as countermeasures for urban environmental protection, we still need to make up an ideology of ecological civilization, establish ecological city, and carry out sustainable development.
