Abstract: China's current form of tourism has changed from the simple to the leisure and tourism experience. Eco-tourism reflects the natural tendency of highly social adaptability, attracting more and more people of all ages and their attention. With the further development and the acceleration of urbanization in the Silk Road Economic Exploitation Region, eco-tourism in Urumqi has developed rapidly. The emphasis on eco-tourism development is to bring about a harmonious Urumqi travel and to build ecological harmony in Urumqi. It is also to accelerate the development of eco-tourism in cooperation with the surrounding counties of Urumqi, to ensure the harmonious development of the natural resources, economy and culture, to guarantee the lasting development of ecological tourism in Urumqi.
