Abstract:
Leading enterprises have important implications for agricultural industrialization process and economic growth in less developed western regions. It has been found, through a questionnaire researching 358 agricultural industrialization leading enterprises of Gansu, that there are many unfavorable factors in the process of leading enterprises' development, such as low cultural quality of entrepreneurs, shortage of technical personnel, RD capability weak, products less competitive and other issues. To expand the leading enterprises in undeveloped areas, the author made some thoughts in terms of modern enterprise management, links of interest, technology innovation, policy environment, and etc.
