Abstract:
Bai-ti poetry first flourished in the early Song Dynasty, resulting in various poets. There are even such saying as All poets are learning Bai le-tian poems. By the Zhen-zong Period, as poets like Li Fang, Li-zhi, Wang yu-cheng, Tian-xi and others died, new poets have entered the literary world, making Qun-ti instead of Bai-ti gradually become the center of poetry. But many Hanlin intellectuals chang-he poems in the Zhen-zong Period remained Bai-ti in either content or style characteristic of poetry, and even many typical Qun-ti poets originated from Bai-ti. The replacement of Song poetry is gradual and complex, and Qun-ti and Bai-ti have been inseparably and intrinsically interrelated. In short, Bai-ti poems in the Zhen-zeng Period did not disappear, but was rather transferred to deeper integration and became an important source of Song poetry.
