Abstract: Local high quality chicken breeds with its great germplasm characteristics and bright development prospects is more and more concerned by the industry. Taking Beijing oil chicken for example, this paper explores the utilization and extension pattern of the resource of Beijing quality oil chicken, through field researches for Beijing resources national conservation demonstration base, Beijing Century Chestnut Eco-Farming Limited and Walixiangjulou Ecological Park. And then, the paper discusses the situation of development and utilization and extension models about Beijing quality oil chicken. Finally, this paper also puts forward some countermeasures for the existing problems and deficiencies in the development of Beijing quality oil chicken.
