Abstract: The study surveys the current development of the farming industry in Nujiang prefecture, and summarizes the main problems of quality of staffs, breeding technique, breeding cost and profit, and livestock infrastructure, etc. Based on these, it proposes the solutions including adopting industrialization and Large scale development path, transforming business pattern, optimizing livestock structure, bringing up new farming community, etc.
