Abstract:
In this paper, the problems in the teaching process were analyzed according to the characteristics of a practice-riented course of Environmental Monitoring. To adapt to a development on national laws of environmental protection, environmental standards and new environmental monitoring technologies, the teaching content were updated timely. To encourage student's interest in its learning, teaching methods were adopt such as guidance and cases based teaching. To promote students to master practical skills, three teaching levels were constructed from basic experiments, practices, to open experiments. To meet a qualification examination for environmental monitoring, an assessment model concerned a whole process was built including a written test and an experimental operation assessment. Thus, a reform was explored to provide a reference for its better teaching in the theory and practice teaching system of environmental,monitoring.
