Abstract: The article analyzed the current situation of rural consumption market in Dun Huang city, which found an extensive development prospect of the rural consumption in Dun Huang city and found some problems as well: a low overall level of the rural consumption market, an obviously disparity between urban and rural, psychological stumbles in consumption of farmers and so on. And on this basis the easy was took the improving of rural residents' purchasing power, the activating of rural consumption market, the optimizing of consumption structure and so on into account.
