摘要: 对Rod Ellis 的《第二语言习得概论》及P.M.Lightbown and N.Spada的《语言学习机制》两部专著进行全面系统的比较分析,探讨二语习得研究的主要理论构建。从研究内容、研究方法、理论解释及读者视角等方面对比分析两本书的差异性,指出其不足之处,为读者深入学习和开展第二语言习得研究提供启示与借鉴。Abstract: This article provides a contrastive analysis on the two popular textbooks:Understanding Second Language Acquisition written by Rod Ellis,and How Languages Are Learned by P.M.Lightbown N.Spada.The purpose is to explore important SLA research findings and major theoretical views from both books.A Particular analytical study is made on the differences and from four different perspectives,research content,research methods,theoretical explanation,Readers perspective.Finally,limitations and implications are raised for further reading and research in SLA.
