Abstract: The exploration of the rural modernized pension model under the rural revitalization strategy is the focus of China’ s rural areas. As a “RED village” that explores “communism” and practices collective roads, Nanjie Village of Henan and its elderly care model are inspiring. The cooperative pension model of Nanjie Village’ s government and society takes red culture, communist spirit, and humanity care as its core concepts; the operation mode is decentralized management and mutual cooperation of the “three major groups” ; the family is integrated into the community and the community is externalized from the organization practice path. The healthy development of the elderly care model in Nanjie Village is facing the test of human resources, financial and material resources. By renewing the concept of old-age care and upgrading old-age welfare; retaining the young population and attracting young talents; expanding the size of the village, increasing the income of village enterprises and other all-round and multi-dimensional approaches can alleviate the difficulties faced by the elderly care model in Nanjie Village.
