Abstract: People are the most critical, active and decisive factor in the overall rural revitalization. Among them, rural college students, as the main force of rural talent revitalization, have a direct impact on the process of talent revitalization. From the perspective of growth background, rural college students can be divided into three categories: left-behind college students, the second-generation-of-farmers college students and post-rich college students. At present, the practical difficulties faced by rural college students returning to the countryside include four major problems: unwilling to return to the countryside, unable to return to the countryside, untenable and unable to win the lottery. We must do well in rural college students’ ideological and political education, so that college students are willing to return home; By perfecting rural infrastructure, improving the overall rural environment and perfecting the mechanism of rural talent return, the objective conditions for rural college students to return to the countryside can be guaranteed, so that college students can not only return to the countryside, but also stand up and win the prize.
