Abstract:
After China’ s economy enters the new normal, it is a practical problem how to effectively develop the abundant female labor resources in rural areas and realize the coordinated development of their non-agricultural employment quality and quantity. Based on the mixed horizontal interface data of China’ s Labor Force Dynamic Survey (CLDS) in 2012, 2014 and 2016, this paper constructed an econometric model to estimate the impact of Mandarin ability on the employment quality of female migrant workers based on the analysis of the impact mechanism. The study found that the mandarin ability had a significant positive effect on the employment quality of female migrant workers, that is, with the improvement of their Mandarin ability, the employment quality of female migrant workers also improved.
