Abstract: In 2016, Lao People’ s Revolutionary Party’ s 10^th Party Congress put Kaysone Phomvihane’ s thought into the party constitution which together with the Marxism-Leninism serves as the party’ s guiding ideology. Kaysone Phomvihane’ s thought on party building is an important part of Kaysone Phomvihane Thought. The year 2020 is the 100^th anniversary of the birth of Kaysone Phomvihane. Reviewing Kaysone Phomvihane’ s thought on party building is of great theoretical and practical value for Lao People’ s Revolutionary Party in the new era in strengthening party’ s governance capacity and comprehensively advancing the socialist innovation and opening up. It also will deepen our understanding of Lao People’ s Revolutionary Party under the background of China-Laos community of shared future.
