Abstract: Hebei Province is a large agricultural province. Through the analysis of the development status of wheat industry in Hebei Province, the development of wheat industry in Hebei Province is compared with other eight major wheat producing provinces in China. Factor analysis was used to compare the scores of the nine major wheat producing provinces in terms of environment, factors and product competitiveness, and then explore the advantages and disadvantages of each province in these three aspects. Through research, it is found that the competitiveness of the wheat industry in Hebei Province is not obvious due to the high production cost, and the environmental competitiveness is at a disadvantage due to resource constraints. The production competitiveness is at a disadvantage due to the low degree of industrial organization. Finally, relevant suggestions are proposed for the factors affecting the competitiveness of the wheat industry in Hebei Province.
