Abstract: Rural revitalization is based on the development of rural economy, including the comprehensive revitalization of rural development level including rural culture, governance, people ’s livelihood and ecology. The purpose of the rural revitalization strategy is to make agriculture a promising industry, to make farmers an attractive profession, and to make the countryside a beautiful home for living and working. Pinghe County is located in the southwestern part of Zhangzhou City, the golden triangle of southern Fujian Province. Pinghe County is an important agricultural county. The production of honey pomelo is the leading agricultural industry. It is known as the “World Pomelo Township, Chinese Pomelo Capital” and “Hometown of China ’s Guanxi Honey Pomelo”. Taking Pinghe County as an example to study the transformation and upgrading path of modern agricultural industry, it not only provides practical scientific basis for the promotion of Pinghe County ’s own industry, but also provides practical and valuable strategic suggestions for the development of townships with similar agricultural foundations in China.
