Abstract: Yunnan is a big agricultural province, due to frequent natural disasters, agricultural insurance is proved to be not only a very important guarantee for agricultural development of Yunnan province, but the most appropriate choice for rural economy and society development. In this paper, based on agricultural production data of Yunnan, we will study the running efficiency of agricultural insurance in Yunnan, and then, this subject is analyzed in different city in Yunnan by using DEA model; at the same time, we use DEA window theory and methodologies of comparative and analysis to study how agricultural insurance influence the agricultural development in Yunnan, so as to seek out the development path of Yunnan agricultural insurance.
