Abstract: Folklore culture is the direct carrier of the historical heritage of a country, a nation or a social group, the ideological accumulation of different historical periods of human society, and the beliefs and concepts that penetrate into the marrow of the people. In recent years, with the rise and development of the third industry, the "tourism +" mode, which integrates folk culture and tourism, can not only promote the local economic development, but also protect and inherit the folk culture. Based on the combination of tourism and folklore culture, taking Xizhou ancient town as the research object, this paper studies the current situation of the development of folk culture tourism in Xizhou ancient town from the perspective of "tourist experience", and provides countermeasures for better developing folklore tourism in Xizhou ancient town combined with the current market and policy practice.
