Abstract: Using the Chinese College Student Personality Scale (CCSPS) and the College Student Dormitory Conflict Management Style Scale, through the investigation of College students, it is found that the personality traits of college students have a significant impact on the way of dealing with dormitory conflict. The active personality and tough personality of college students have great influence on their conflict management behavior. The active personality of college students in public universities is significantly lower than that of private universities. Therefore, public universities should focus on various ways to enhance the active personality of College students.
